HAZEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

​My name is Jesslyn Hall, I am the K-5 Music Teacher.  This is my 9th year of teaching, and I recently completed my Master's of Music Education with a concentration in Autism from Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Previously I taught 5 years of PK-5th grade general music, high school choir, miscellaneous middle school music classes, and assisted with high school band at St. John Public School.   I went to Wartburg College, in Waverly, IA for a degree in Music Education.  I participated in Band (oboe), Choir, Orchestra (oboe), and Handbells.
 
I am an active member of Prairie Winds Orff (PWO) and ND Music Educators Association serving as the West Region General Music Representative.  I have completed my Orff Schulwerk certification from University of Mary and Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.
 
During the school year I participate in church choir and handbells in Washburn at First Lutheran.  During the summer I work at the International Music Camp where I've worked many different positions and attended camp sessions as a student.  Outside of school, I enjoy crafting, shopping, singing, and spending time with my family.
