Hello from Bison Territory! I am Ken Miller and have been the Hazen Public School District superintendent since the fall of 2015.
This school year will mark my 32nd year working in the wonderful profession of education. Before my administrative career, I was an intermediate elementary classroom and physical education teacher for 10 years. Since then, I have been the superintendent of the Tuttle-Pettibone and Kidder County school districts.
Outside of education, I have a passion for the delightful game of baseball. You will see me watching and officiating baseball games during the spring and summer months. I also love visiting Major League Baseball stadiums. A large number of family vacations have been planned around baseball visits.
I am blessed to have a very supportive wife of 32 years, Tina, and 2 sons, Jake and Jayden, who live in Hazen and work in the area.
It is an honor and a privilege to be the leader of this amazing school district. The future continues to be bright for the Hazen School District.
