Welcome to our classroom. My name is Tammie Vernon.
I grew up in Jamestown, ND. The University of Mary is where I received my Bachelor’s degree. My Master’s of Education degree was earned at the University of Minnesota, in the area of Deaf Education.
I have been teaching at Hazen Elementary School for 36 years, teaching third grade for the last 6 years.
Besides teaching, I enjoy music, directing a handbell choir, sewing, baking, outdoor activities, and being a parent and grandparent.
